went to 宜兴/Yixing on a school trip. first we had to go to a teapot museum which was rly dryy but then we went to a bamboo mountain forest ting so that was coool! we went off the path so it felt like we were going on a kungfu pilgrimage up the mountain.

the other day i was an extra in some propagandaish film about china doing well in the 1984 LA olympics. kinda boring but got paid just for sitting pretending to be the audience.
my favourite part was the chinese extras in 80s wigs

exploring demolished traditional houses. kinda sad cos some of the families probably lives there for aagess and then got told to move
earlier this week me and dawei went exploring some places near the city walls where there are still some traditional old houses that families have been living in FOREVERR
some old ppl we saw invited us to sit with them so we chatted with about learning chinese, old places, how england invaded the world. i said sorry and they said dont worry its just history haha. they had loads of birds (chinese old people like pet birds)
